Event Update: Due to current COVID  restrictions, this event will not take place as planned on Monday 27 September.

It is our intention to still hold this event later this year at a time when we can maximise attendance and properly celebrate the season, in person, as a Club.

Ticket sales for this function have also been paused as we continue to navigate COVID-19 restrictions and their impact on venue density limits. Function Refund Policy

In circumstances where the 2021 Best and Fairest Dinner is impacted by COVID-19, resulting in the function being either cancelled or venue capacity being reduced, affected ticket purchasers will be entitled to the following refund and credit policy:


  • In the event the function is cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to the event date, all purchasers will be entitled to a full refund.
  • If the function is cancelled within 2 weeks to the day of event, all purchasers will be offered a full refund minus a $25 administration fee per ticket.
  • In the event the function venue capacity is reduced due to COVID-19 density restrictions and the Melbourne Football Club is unable to fulfill your purchase to attend the function, you will be entitled to a full refund.


  •  In lieu of a refund, purchasers can choose at their discretion to receive a credit to use with the Melbourne Football Club on Melbourne Experience products for up to 1 year from the cancelled function date.
